In her 26-year career as a licensed practical nurse, Anissa's compassion and dedication shine through. She passionately advocates for breast health and works tirelessly to combat sexual violence within the military, showcasing her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

Anissa's advocacy for stomach cancer awareness is deeply rooted in personal tragedy, as she lost her husband to advanced gastric cancer. Through her journey, she has become a courageous beacon of resilience, demonstrating how to confront life's challenges with unwavering resolve and tap into the ancestral light within ourselves.
